It was nice seeing so many familiar faces, as well as new ones, at Meet the Teacher Night. The night was a huge success, in part, due to our many parent volunteers that gave of their time to hand out schedules, etc. I wanted to extend a huge THANK YOU to those volunteers for stepping up. Our school activities often times depend upon our parent volunteers. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people and build community, here at Lincoln Prep. Speaking of meeting people, our Meet and Greet we had at The Wildflower Bread Company was a success! Many of those that came, expressed an interest in having these types of gatherings on a more regular basis. We will certainly take that suggestion to heart. Speak of meetings, did you see that this Monday, in the lunchroom, we are having a training session? If you’d like to volunteer in the lunchroom, I would highly recommend coming, if possible, to learn about the new procedures we will be using this upcoming year. If volunteering in the lunchroom is not your thing, you will have another opportunity to meet people at our first PSO meeting. It will be held on August 22nd, in the Prep conference room, right after drop off, starting at 8am.
